Just nine players were available this week and together with strong winds and strong opposition meant Wyke lost both games but didn’t go down without a fight.

Wyke Goals:

Wyke lost out to a solitary goal in an even game.

Lucas impressed in goal and out. Owen and Charlie won a lot of possession but Wyke were unable to convert any of their chances. Ethan and Zac battled hard. Nathan played well outfield before reverting to goal in the second half.

Wyke Goals:

Wyke struggled against a bigger and stronger team in the second game.

Jarad played well in goal and out. Sam and Matthew tried hard against stronger opposition. Owen, Ethan, Lucas, Zac and Charlie ably assisted them. Wyke however were unable to score again and in pushing forward they got caught out on the break for Brighouse’s second and third goals.
