Summary
Wyke had a hard fought victory at Battyeford. It looked plain sailing for much of the first half after a brace from Nathan and a tap in for Cameron gave the black and whites a three goal lead. However the home side scored either side of half time and Wyke had to defend stoutly to prevent the equaliser and having succeeded that they could have wrapped the game up in the closing stages but were content with the narrow win. Jack made some key saves. Jared and Connor made some strong tackles. Thomas made some good flank runs and Owen drove the team forwards. Nathan and Cameron dropped back to bolster the defence when under pressure.
