Wyke tasted defeat in their first friendly run out of the new season. They matched Batley for much of the game but three quick fire goals midway through the second half sealed it for the home team. Owen scored a great goal from a free kick in response and Cameron, Nathan, Lewis E, Connor, Charlie, Owen, Zac, Thomas and Jack played very well together.
