Summary
Wyke secured a comfortable victory against a gutsy Thornhill side. (MoM) Charlie scored a well-earned hat trick. Owen supported him with two cracking efforts. Nathan scored a superb controlled volley and Connor slid in ‘stealth like’ for his first of the season. Cameron kept Wyke in the game in the first half with some great goal keeping. Lewis marshalled brilliantly from the back. Danny worked tirelessly in midfield. Liam and Jack showed passion in their brief roles.
This was a difficult game against an under strength team and on a poor pitch. Wyke found it hard to find an end product but as the opposition faded, the goals eventually rained in for a one-sided victory in an average performance.
