ELLAND 'A' 1 - 2 WYKE WANDERERS 'B'


The boys kicked off their first competitive league game of the season this week. Playing away to Elland A , Wyke B were already thrown in at the deep end having to play Elland A, who had been moved out of the A team division. As usual, they stood up to the challenge very well and took the game to their opponents.

After a very close first half, Wyke then took the lead after they were awarded a penalty. Soon after our opponenets equilised taking the game into the last few minutes. With a couple of minutes of the game left to go, a draw would have been a good result, but Wyke managed a well deserved last minute goal.
