Match Report 19.10.08 Wyke v Norristhorpe
Wyke. A 0 v 4 Norristhorpe. A
Today the boys experienced their first defeat of the season in 6 games against a very strong and well organised Norristhorpe team. First half started off very well with both teams showing some great skills and quality passing of the ball. Only minutes before half time, with the score being 0-0, the oppositions long range shots were getting more and more closer to goal which led to us conceding an own goal. The boys started the second half 1-0 down with no signs of a dominant Norristhorpe team conceding a goal. Norristhorpe then continued their constant shots at goal which led to them scoring a futher 3, finishing the game 4-0. The boys did me proud this week, not letting letting the result faze them, keeping their heads held high and more interested in next weeks game.

Wyke. B 0 v 8 Norristhorpe. C
Once again, following on from the first game, we saw a second strong and well organised Norristhorpe team. With Norristhorpe getting 2 very early goals, Wyke continued with great effort and determination to get a goal back. Second half started with the opposition continuing to show they were the stronger side, which led to them scoring more goals. Wyke stood up to a very strong team today and did not give up once during the full game. Once again a great performance and a big effort from all the boys.
MOM- Jordan Eli
WELL DONE TO ALL THE TEAM.
