Match Report 11.1.09 Wyke v Norristhorpe
Wyke. A 0 v 1 Norristhorpe. B
Very unlucky for the boys this week as they had a 1-0 defeat against Norristhorpe.
It was a very cold and very windy day with the first half kicking off with Wyke playing against the wind, hoping it would give us the advantage in the second half. All the boys played some good football today.
As we started the game looking the better team and coming close to scoring on many occasions, only minutes before half time, Norristhorpe made a lucky break leading to them scoring the only goal of the game.
Second half, now playing with the wind behind us, it only looked like one team were going to be scoring any goals, but we didnt.
The game finished 1-0 to the opponents.

Wyke. B 5 v 1 Norristhorpe. C
An even bigger well done to the B team today, securing a 5-1 win over Norristhorpe.
Great first half from all the boys, with a faultless performance, showing excellent skills and passing today, which earnt them 5 goals.
Ibby Hussain did not take long after kick off to score the opening goal, followed by 2 great goals from Dylan Silson which were set up by MOM Jordan Eli. Half time came and we were stuck for what to say to them apart from to continue to play how they were playing.
Second half started with them continuing to run the game, but with only Nathan Younghusband adding to the score sheet(well done to norristhorpe goalkeeper).
The game ended 5-1 as we gave them a penalty, otherwise, clean sheet for Ben Sutcliffe.
Well done boys, keep it up
