Summary
Considering it was their first game in six weeks, Wyke played all right at times. Unfortunately, Dalton punished some sloppy defending by taking their chances well whereas Wyke were less accurate in front of goal. Cameron, Lewis and Travis were solid enough at the back. Connor and Danny were quick to link up with the forwards but sometimes struggled to get back to help out in defence. Charlie and Owen were out-muscled for long periods but battled on to the end, showing true spirit. Jack, Nathan and Matty, playing his first game for the A team, slotted in well when called upon.

Summary
Wyke were edged out in a game that they didn’t deserve to lose. A combination of bad luck and good Dalton defending left the Wanderers pointless this week. Jack struggled to clear his lines but made up for it with some good goal keeping. Travis and Jared battled hard at the back whilst Lewis S. and Nathan fought well in midfield. Cameron was at the heart of most attacks and Matty scored a superb individual goal. Owen, Connor and Charlie provided fresh endeavour from the bench but all their huff and puff could not blow down the Dalton goal for a deserved equaliser. Oh no they couldn’t!
