Bradford Park Ave. A 0-4 Wyke. A

Wyke A

Once again another great performance from all the A team.
Starting with Dylan Silson in goals- pulling off some great saves and keeping a clean sheet. Moving on to Ben Sutcliffe and Edward Tordoff at the back getting off to a slow start but towards the end of the first half, they started to find their feet, taking players on and showing some great skill which led to Sam Wainman showing his striking form again leading to 2 goals before half time.
Started the second half with the opposition picking up the pace looking like they may score, but once again our midfielders Patrick Mcgrath, Bradley Ho and Ryan Clay showed their stamina and worked hard to get the ball, this then led to Patrick and Ryan both getting a well deserved goal each.
WELL DONE BOYS

GOALS- Sam Wainman x2
Patrick Mcgrath x1
Ryan Clay x1

Bradford Park Ave. B 4-6 Wyke. B

This started off a very evenly matched game. Wyke opened the game with Dylan Silson scoring 2 consecutive goals, but then the opposition scored one back. Jordan Eli, making his debut for Wyke then made the score 3-1
going in to half time. Moving in to the second half Jordan then scored his second goal. 4-1 to Wyke. Not so long after, i think the boys thought they had already won, leaving Joseph Preston in goals with his work cut out, leading to the opposition getting another 3 goals taking it to 4-4.
This then made the boys step up a gear. Nathan Younghusband showing some great skill, taking the whole team on, was then brought down in the penalty area and was awarded a penalty which he stood up with confidance and scored. To finish off the game Samual Bottomley, who worked his socks off all game in defence, came and popped a last minute goal in.
WELL DONE BOYS, GREAT TEAM WORK.

GOALS- Dylan Silson x2
Jordan Eli x2
Nathan Younghusband x1
Samual Bottomley x1
