Summary
Wyke ran out good winners in an entertaining match on a difficult pitch. They were very good going forward but too many players pushed up, leaving the defence vulnerable and the score-line close. Jack was safe enough in goal but was left one–on–one too many times. Jared, Travis and Lewis made some good tackles at the back but seemed to get stuck in the mud a bit at times. Connor linked up well with the forwards and was also the only one getting back to cover at the back on numerous occasions. Thomas was good going forward and scored a decent goal but forgot to track back which left gaps for Rastrick to exploit. Nathan played very well, using his strength to score and create many chances. Matthew did well up front and scored his usual predator goal. Owen added strength up front in the second half and was unlucky to only score one. Cameron linked up well with the forwards and was rewarded with two great goals but did fail to track back and help the defence out. Charlie had a good second half, linking up well and was also unlucky not to get on the scoresheet.
