The Wyke Wanderers Summer Tournament

You may have heard already that the Wyke Wanderers Summer Football Tournament will be returning in 2010.

The event will be taking place on Sunday 27th June 2010, at Whitcliffe Mount Playing Fields (Our home ground).

The event will be open to teams ranging from Under 8's to Under 12's. The Tournament will play host to 70 teams, and invitiations will be shortly sent out to all local club secretaries.

The Tournament will be 6-a-side, therefore we are expecting in excess of 560 children to be taking part, this means around 1,000 adults. It will be a big event and it will have the potential to be a good fundraiser for the club.

We will be looking shortly for volunteers for such things as:

-Car Parking
-Refereeing x15
-Results Processing
-Barbaque
-Sweet Stalls
-Supervising Games/Bouncy Castle
