1st round Cup Preview----Under 10s to Under 16's

League Cup Preview
Games to be played 8th November 2009.
The Under 10’s A have drawn Rastrick B team in the 1st round of the cup. Wyke have a brilliant chance of going through to round 2, as Rastrick are currently bottom of the table with 3 defeats in 3. Wyke sit middle table.
The U10’s B have a Bye to round 2.
The Under 11’s also have a brilliant chance to go through to round 2. Currently John Lyon’s boys sit second in the table with three straight wins to their name, and face Brighouse, who are bottom of the 3rd division with 4 straight defeats.
The Under 12’s have been drawn at home to Lepton Highlanders (B). Although Lepton no longer have an A team. Lepton are currently 2nd in Division 4, and this could be a tricky match for the Under 12’s who have had a mixes start In the second division and sit right in the middle of the league.
The Under 13’s will play same division Brighouse Juniors. Sean Rodger’s Wyke team are mid-table after a tough start, and 3 draws, and will hope to see off Brighouse who are bottom of the league, after 4 heavy defeats.
The Under 14’s have a bye to the second round.
The Under 15’s, who have started very strongly back in the top flight, have been drawn against Kirkburton, who are currently 5th in the 3rd Division. Although 2 divisions apart, Wyke and Kirkburton were both in the second division last season, Wyke were promoted and Kirkburton were relegated. Wyke will relish playing a familiar team in their first round tie.
