Summary
Wyke ended their first competitive league season with a comfortable victory at Cleckheaton & Gomersal. Nathan scored a fine half volley in an improved performance. Cameron claimed the second to top a fine display and Owen grabbed the last goal after many attempts from a strong team effort. Jack made light work of his few touches in goal as Jared and Travis tamed the home strikers. Matthew held the ball up well in the lone striker role while Connor worked tirelessly up and down the pitch and was unlucky not to score himself. Thomas had the home defence on the back foot every time he got the ball and set up many attacks whilst also being unlucky not to score too. Great season lads – this sets the standard for U10s next season – bring it on!
