Promotion for the Open Age Team

Senior Team Promoted!

The Wyke Wanderers Senior Team have achieved promotion to the West Yorkshire League Division 1, after finishing third in the Second Division.

Wyke narrowly missed out on promotion last season, finishing fourth, but this season have showed they are a growing into a mature and talented team.

Wyke could well have been crowned champions, but were defeated 3 times in their last four games, and unfortunately missed out on the title. However despite the poor end to the season, the boys have done brilliantly to earn promotion. The boys are still all young, with most players between the ages of 22 and 17, and most of them have not reached their peek.
Division One could be a difficult season, but they have a good enough team to battle for a further promotion into the Premier Division.
